Method

Brownie Preparation

  1. 1

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.

  2. 2

    Melt Butter and Mix Sugars

In a medium saucepan over low heat, melt the butter. Remove from heat and stir in granulated sugar and brown sugar until combined.

  3. 3

    Add Eggs and Vanilla

Allow the butter mixture to cool slightly, then add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract.

  4. 4

    Combine Dry Ingredients

In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gradually add to the wet mixture, stirring until fully combined.

  5. 5

    Add Chocolate Chips and Pecans

Fold in chocolate chips and chopped pecans until evenly distributed.

  6. 6

    Bake

Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.

  7. 7

    Cool and Serve

Allow brownies to cool completely in the pan before cutting into squares. Serve with pecan praline ice cream, caramel, and white chocolate sauce.
