Preparation Steps
- 1
Prepare the Mint
In a small saucepan, bring 1 cup of water to a boil. Add the fresh mint leaves and let them steep for about 10 minutes. Strain the liquid to remove the mint leaves and set the mint-infused water aside to cool.
- 2
Juice the Lemons
While the mint is steeping, juice the lemons until you have about 1 cup of fresh lemon juice. Strain the juice to remove any seeds or pulp.
- 3
Mix the Ingredients
In a large pitcher, combine the cooled mint-infused water, fresh lemon juice, granulated sugar, and the remaining 3 cups of water. Stir well until the sugar is fully dissolved.
- 4
Serve
Taste the lemonade and adjust the sweetness by adding more sugar if desired. Serve over ice and garnish with additional mint leaves and lemon slices.
