Falafel Ingredients
Method
Falafel Preparation
Soak Chickpeas
Place dried chickpeas in a large bowl and cover with water. Let them soak overnight, or for at least 8 hours.
Form Falafel Balls
Transfer the mixture to a bowl, add flour, and mix well. Form small balls (about 1.5 inches in diameter) and place them on a tray.
Fry Falafel
In a deep pan, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, carefully add falafel balls in batches, frying until golden brown and crispy on all sides, about 4-5 minutes. Remove and drain on paper towels.
Serve
Serve hot with tahini sauce or your favorite dipping sauce.
