Prepare the Glass
Take an Old Fashioned glass and add 1 tsp of sugar to the bottom.

Add Bitters
Add 2 dashes of bitters over the sugar in the glass.

Muddle the Ingredients
Using a muddler or the back of a spoon, gently muddle the sugar and bitters together until the sugar starts to dissolve.

Add Ice
Fill the glass with ice cubes until it is about three-quarters full.

Pour Bourbon
Pour 2 oz of Makers Mark Bourbon over the ice.

Garnish
Add a slice of orange and a cherry on top as a garnish.

Stir and Serve
Gently stir the drink to combine the ingredients. Serve on the rocks.
