Ahi Tuna Preparation

Marinate the Tuna
In a bowl, mix together sesame oil, preserved lemon, and ponzu sauce. Place the Ahi tuna steaks in the marinade and let them sit for about 15 minutes.

Coat with Sesame Seeds
After marinating, remove the tuna from the marinade and coat both sides with sesame seeds.

Sear the Tuna
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add a splash of sesame oil and sear the tuna steaks for 1-2 minutes on each side, or until desired doneness. Remove from heat and let rest before slicing.

Prepare the Slaw
In a large bowl, combine shredded carrots, shredded cabbage, and sliced radishes.

Make the Dressing
In a separate small bowl, whisk together rice vinegar, honey, salt, and pepper.

Combine and Toss
Pour the dressing over the slaw mixture and toss to combine. Add chopped chives and mix well.
