Method
Cocktail
- 1
Prepare glass and ice
Select a large wine glass (or rocks glass). Fill it generously with ice cubes so the glass is about three-quarters full; this keeps the drink cold and preserves carbonation.
- 2
Build the drink
Pour 3 tablespoons (approx. 45 ml) of Aperol into the glass over the ice. Slowly add 3 tablespoons (approx. 45 ml) of chilled Prosecco. Pour 1 tablespoon (approx. 15 ml) of chilled soda water on top. Pour gently to preserve bubbles; do not stir vigorously.
- 3
Light stir and garnish
Give the drink one gentle stir (1–2 turns) to combine Aperol and Prosecco with the soda. Garnish by placing one orange slice or wheel on the rim or into the glass.
- 4
Serve
Serve immediately while cold and bubbly. Optionally provide a straw or long spoon for sipping/stirring.
