Cocktail
- 1
Prepare glass
Place a large old-fashioned glass in the freezer for a few minutes or fill it with ice to chill while you prepare the cocktail.
- 2
Combine ingredients
In a mixing glass, add 1.5 oz Jose Cuervo Tradicional, 0.5 oz Mezcal 400 Conejos, and 0.25 oz simple syrup.
- 3
Bitters
Add 3 dashes of chocolate bitters and 2 dashes of Angostura bitters to the mixing glass.
- 4
Stir and dilute
Add enough ice to the mixing glass to fill it. Stir the mixture slowly and steadily for 20–30 seconds (about 20–30 full revolutions) until well-chilled and slightly diluted.
- 5
Strain and serve
Discard ice or remove the chilling ice from the prepared old-fashioned glass. Strain the stirred cocktail over a single large ice cube in the chilled glass.
