Burger Assembly

Method

Preparing the Burger Patty

  1. 1

    Mix the Ground Beef

In a large bowl, combine the ground beef with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Mix gently until just combined.

  2. 2

    Form the Patties

Divide the mixture into two equal portions and shape them into burger patties, making a slight indentation in the center.

Cooking the Burger

  1. 3

    Cook the Bacon

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon strips until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.

  2. 4

    Grill the Patties

In the same skillet or on a grill, cook the burger patties over medium-high heat for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness.

  3. 5

    Add Cheese

In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of pepper jack cheese on each patty and cover to let it melt.

Assembling the Burger

  1. 6

    Toast the Buns

Lightly toast the burger buns on the grill or in a toaster until golden brown.

  2. 7

    Build the Burger

On the bottom half of each bun, place a burger patty with melted cheese. Top with crispy bacon, spicy BBQ sauce, fried onion rings, and pickle slices. Place the top half of the bun on each burger.
