Preparation of Cheese Mixture

Blend the Cheese
In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, cheddar cheese, and Monterey Jack cheese. Mix until smooth and fully blended.

Add crumbled bacon, finely chopped onion, and jalapeno to the cheese mixture. Stir until all ingredients are evenly distributed.

Bread the Cheese Mixture
Take a tablespoon of the cheese mixture and shape it into a ball or shot-sized shape. Roll the cheese ball in flour, dip it in the egg, and then coat it with breadcrumbs. Repeat until all cheese mixture is used.

Heat the Oil
In a large pot or deep fryer, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).

Fry the Cheese Shots
Carefully add the breaded cheese shots to the hot oil in batches, frying for about 3-4 minutes or until golden brown. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
