Marinade

Method

Marinade Preparation

  1. 1

    Combine Marinade Ingredients

In a medium bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, olive oil, honey, lemon juice, minced garlic, grated ginger, and black pepper until well blended.

  2. 2

    Marinate the Salmon

Place the salmon fillets in a large resealable plastic bag or shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the salmon, ensuring that all pieces are well-coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for more flavor.

Grilling the Salmon

  1. 3

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 375°F to 400°F).

  2. 4

    Prepare the Grill Grate

Lightly oil the grill grates with a paper towel soaked in vegetable oil to prevent the salmon from sticking.

  3. 5

    Grill the Salmon

Remove the salmon from the marinade and shake off any excess. Place the fillets skin-side down on the grill. Grill for about 6-8 minutes per side, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

  4. 6

    Garnish and Serve

Once grilled, remove the salmon from the grill and let it rest for a minute. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges on the side.
