Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) to ensure it is at the right temperature for baking.

In a large bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, brown sugar, baking soda, and salt until well combined.

Cream Butter and Sugars
In a separate bowl, beat the softened unsalted butter with the granulated and brown sugars until the mixture is light and fluffy.

Combine Wet and Dry Ingredients
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.

Gently fold in the chocolate chips and chopped walnuts until evenly distributed in the cookie dough.
Baking

Scoop the Dough
Using a cookie scoop or a tablespoon, drop rounded balls of cookie dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, leaving space between each cookie.
