Cocktail
Prepare the glass
Run a lime wedge around the rim of a rocks glass or coupe. Spread the smoked salt on a small plate and gently press the rim into the salt to create a light, even salted rim. Fill the glass with a few large ice cubes to chill while you mix the drink.
Measure and combine
In a cocktail shaker, add 1.5 oz Montelobos mezcal, 0.75 oz Corazón Blanco tequila, 0.25 oz orange liqueur, 0.5 oz agave nectar, and 0.75 oz fresh lime juice.
Add ice and shake
Fill the shaker with ice (about 1 cup). Secure the lid and shake vigorously for 12–15 seconds, until the shaker is cold to the touch and the mixture is well-chilled and slightly diluted.
Strain and serve
Discard the ice from the chilled glass. Strain the cocktail into the prepared rocks glass over fresh ice (one large cube or 3–4 regular cubes) or optionally serve neat in the coupe without ice.
Garnish
Garnish with a lime wheel or wedge on the rim. Optionally express a lime peel over the drink to add aromatic oils, or dust a tiny pinch of smoked salt on top for an additional smoky accent.
Enjoy responsibly. Adjust agave sweetness to taste: increase to 0.75 oz for a sweeter profile or reduce to 0.25 oz for a drier, more spirit-forward drink.
