Cocktail

1

Prepare glass

Chill a coupe or a rocks glass by placing it in the freezer for a few minutes or filling it with ice water while you prepare the drink.

2

Combine ingredients

In a cocktail shaker, add ice (about 3/4 full), then pour in 2 oz grey vodka, 0.75 oz framboise liqueur, 2 oz pineapple juice, 0.5 oz fresh lime juice, and 0.25 oz simple syrup.

3

Shake

Secure the shaker lid and shake vigorously for 10–15 seconds until the outside of the shaker is very cold and the mixture is well chilled and slightly diluted.

4

Prepare glass for serving

If you chilled the glass with ice water, discard the ice water and wipe the glass dry. If you used the freezer method, remove the glass from the freezer.

5

Strain and serve

Double-strain the cocktail into the chilled coupe or over fresh ice in a rocks glass, depending on your preference. Double-straining (using a Hawthorne and fine mesh strainer) removes small ice chips and fruit pulp for a smoother drink.

6

Garnish

Garnish with a pineapple wedge on the rim or a skewer of 3 fresh raspberries and optionally a small mint sprig. Serve immediately.

7

Notes

Adjust sweetness by increasing or decreasing the simple syrup (0.25–0.5 oz). Use high-quality pineapple juice (not from concentrate) for best flavor. If you prefer a lighter raspberry presence, reduce framboise to 0.5 oz.
