Preparation of Smoked Chile Sauce

Soak the Chiles
In a bowl, soak the dried ancho and guajillo chiles in hot water for about 20 minutes until softened.

Blend the Sauce
Remove the stems and seeds from the soaked chiles. In a blender, combine the chiles, garlic cloves, vegetable broth, and lime juice. Blend until smooth.

Cook the Chicken
In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the ground chicken and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.

Stir in the smoked paprika, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.

Pour the blended smoked chile sauce over the chicken mixture. Stir to combine and simmer for 10 minutes.
