Method

Preparation of Mushrooms

  1. 1

    Clean the Mushrooms

Gently wipe the Portobello mushrooms with a damp paper towel to remove any dirt. Remove the stems from the mushrooms and set them aside.

  2. 2

    Brush with Olive Oil

Brush the tops and insides of the mushrooms with the olive oil to prepare them for baking.

Preparation of Filling

  1. 3

    Make the Cheese Mixture

In a bowl, combine the cream cheese, grated Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, chopped parsley, chopped thyme, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly incorporated.

Stuffing the Mushrooms

  1. 4

    Stuff the Mushrooms

Spoon the cheese mixture into each mushroom cap, pressing down slightly to ensure the filling is packed in.

Baking

  1. 5

    Bake the Stuffed Mushrooms

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Place the stuffed mushrooms on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the mushrooms are tender and the tops are golden brown.
