Prepare the Tomatoes
Wash the tomatoes, then dice them into small pieces and place them in a mixing bowl.

Add Flavor
Finely chop the garlic and add it to the bowl with the diced tomatoes. Tear the basil leaves and add them to the mixture.

Season the Mixture
Sprinkle salt and black pepper over the tomato mixture and gently toss to combine all ingredients. Set aside to allow flavors to meld.

Slice the Bread
Slice the baguette into 1/2-inch thick slices.

Toast the Bread
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Arrange the sliced baguette on a baking sheet and brush both sides with olive oil. Toast in the oven for about 10-12 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
