Mint and Sweetener

Method

Preparation of Tea

1

Boil Water

In a kettle, bring 4 cups of water to a rolling boil.

2

Steep Green Tea

Once the water is boiling, add 2 tablespoons of green tea leaves. Remove from heat and allow to steep for about 5 minutes.

3

Strain Tea

After steeping, strain the tea leaves from the liquid using a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth.

Adding Mint and Sugar

4

Add Mint

Add the bunch of fresh mint leaves to the strained tea. Allow to steep for an additional 2-3 minutes to infuse the mint flavor.

5

Sweeten the Tea

Stir in 4 tablespoons of sugar, adjusting to taste. Mix well until the sugar is fully dissolved.

6

Serve the Tea

Pour the tea into small glasses, holding the teapot high to create a frothy top, and serve hot.
