    Gather Ingredients

    Collect all the required ingredients: Mad River '1928' Rye, Ruby Port, Allspice Dram, and garnishes.

    Chill Glass

    Place a cocktail glass in the freezer or fill it with ice water to chill while preparing the drink.

Mixing

    Combine Ingredients

    In a mixing glass filled with ice, add 2 oz of Mad River '1928' Rye, 1 oz of Ruby Port, and 0.5 oz of Allspice Dram.

    Stir

    Stir the mixture gently for about 30 seconds until well chilled.

    Strain

    Remove the cocktail glass from the freezer or discard the ice water. Strain the mixture into the chilled glass using a fine mesh strainer.
