Method
Preparation of Herbed Butter
- 1
Make the Herbed Butter
In a small saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over low heat. Add the chopped rosemary, thyme, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper. Stir well and let it simmer for 5 minutes to infuse the flavors. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
Wrapping the Franks
- 2
Wrap the Franks
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Lay a sheet of phyllo dough on a clean surface and brush a thin layer of herbed butter over it. Place a slice of prosciutto on top of the phyllo dough. Lay a wagyu frank at the edge of the phyllo and roll it up tightly, encasing the frank. Repeat this process for all franks.
Baking
- 3
Bake the Wrapped Franks
Place the wrapped franks on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush the tops with more herbed butter and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the phyllo is golden and crispy.
