Preparation

  1. 1

    Chill the Glass

Begin by chilling your martini glass. Fill it with ice water and set it aside while you prepare the cocktail.

  2. 2

    Combine Ingredients

In a mixing glass filled with ice, pour in 2 oz of Procera Blue Dot Gin, 0.5 oz of Douglas Fir, and 0.5 oz of Dry Vermouth.

  3. 3

    Add Bitters

Add 2 dashes of orange bitters to the mixing glass with the other ingredients.

  4. 4

    Stir the Mixture

Using a bar spoon, stir the mixture gently for about 30 seconds until well-chilled and diluted.

  5. 5

    Strain into Glass

Remove the ice water from your chilled martini glass. Using a strainer, pour the chilled mixture into the glass.

  6. 6

    Finish with Grapefruit Oil

Finally, spritz a small amount of grapefruit oil over the cocktail to add aroma and flavor.

  7. 7

    Garnish and Serve

Optionally, you can garnish with a twist of grapefruit peel. Serve immediately and enjoy your 1928 Executive Martini.
