Prepare the Espresso
Brew a shot of espresso using your preferred method. Ensure it is fresh and hot.

Combine Ingredients
In a cocktail shaker, add 1 cup of reposado tequila, 0.5 cup of coffee liqueur, 1 shot of freshly brewed espresso, and 1 tsp of vanilla extract.

Shake
Fill the shaker with ice and seal it. Shake vigorously for about 15 seconds until well chilled.

Strain
Using a fine mesh strainer, strain the mixture into a chilled martini glass to remove any ice shards.
Garnish

Place 3 coffee beans on top of the cocktail for garnish. If desired, lightly dust the top with cocoa powder for an additional flavor and decorative touch.
