Method

Burger Preparation

  1. 1

    Form the Patty

Take the 8 oz. of Brandt beef and gently form it into a round patty, being careful not to overwork the meat.

  2. 2

    Cook the Patty

Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Place the patty on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side, then flip it.

  3. 3

    Add Cheese

After flipping, place the slice of American cheese on top of the patty and cook for another 3-4 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the burger is cooked to your preferred doneness.

  4. 4

    Assemble the Burger

Toast the burger bun lightly on the grill. Spread the chipotle aioli on the bottom half of the bun, then add the cooked patty with cheese, followed by the pickles. Top with the other half of the bun.

French Fries Preparation

  1. 5

    Prepare the Potatoes

Wash and peel the medium potatoes, then cut them into thin strips to form fries.

  2. 6

    Heat the Oil

In a deep pot, heat vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C). You can use a thermometer to check the temperature.

  3. 7

    Fry the Potatoes

Carefully place the cut fries into the hot oil in batches, making sure not to overcrowd the pot. Fry for about 5-7 minutes or until golden brown.

  4. 8

    Drain and Season

Remove the fries from the oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil. Sprinkle with salt while they are still hot.
