Cynar Prosecco Cocktail

Method

Cynar Prosecco Cocktail

1

Build and chill

Add 1 oz Cynar, 0.25 oz fresh lemon juice and 0.25 oz simple syrup into a mixing glass or small pitcher. Add 4 ice cubes and stir gently for about 15–20 seconds until well chilled and slightly diluted.

2

Prepare glassware

While stirring, chill a coupe or flute by filling it with ice water or placing it in the freezer briefly. Discard the ice/water before assembling the drink.

3

Combine with Prosecco

Strain the chilled Cynar mixture into the chilled coupe or flute (do not overfill). Top with 4 oz chilled Prosecco, pouring slowly to preserve bubbles. Stir very gently once or twice to integrate.

4

Garnish and serve

Express an orange twist over the surface to release oils, then rub the rim with the twist and drop it into the glass as garnish. Serve immediately.
