Build the cocktail
Fill a large wine glass about three-quarters full with ice cubes. Pour 3 tablespoons (approximately 1.5 fl oz) of Aperol over the ice.
Add sparkling wine
Gently pour 3 ounces of chilled Prosecco into the glass. Pour slowly to preserve bubbles and avoid overflow.
Top with soda
Add 1 ounce of chilled soda water on top. Stir once gently with a bar spoon or long spoon for 3–5 seconds to combine ingredients without flattening the Prosecco.
Garnish and serve
Place an orange slice or twist on the rim or into the glass as a garnish. Serve immediately while cold and fizzy.
