Hummus

Method

Prepare the Hummus

1

Roast the Garlic

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Wrap the garlic cloves in foil and roast in the oven for about 30-35 minutes until soft and caramelized. Let cool slightly before handling.

2

Blend Ingredients

In a food processor, combine the chickpeas, tahini, roasted garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, ground cumin, salt, and water. Blend until smooth, adding more water if necessary to reach desired consistency.

3

Taste and Adjust

Taste the hummus and adjust the salt or lemon juice as needed. Blend again to combine.

4

Serve

Transfer the hummus to a serving bowl and drizzle with additional olive oil if desired.

Prepare the Dippers

5

While the hummus is being prepared, slice the cucumber, sweet peppers, and radish. Arrange the sliced vegetables and baby carrots on a platter.

6

Warm the naan bread in the oven or on a skillet for a few minutes until soft and warm.
