Method
Prep

- 2
Juice citrus
Juice fresh grapefruit and lime. Measure out 1.5 oz grapefruit juice and 0.5 oz lime juice. Fresh juice gives the best flavor and balance.
Build & Shake
- 3
Combine base ingredients
In a cocktail shaker, add 2 oz blanco tequila, 1.5 oz fresh grapefruit juice, 0.5 oz fresh lime juice, and 0.5 oz agave nectar. Add a large handful of ice (enough to fill the shaker) and secure the lid.
- 4
Shake
Shake vigorously for 10–15 seconds until the shaker is cold to the touch and well-chilled. This both chills and slightly dilutes the mixture for balance.
Finish & Serve

Add firewater tincture
Add 3 drops of firewater tincture to the top of the drink. Stir gently once with a bar spoon to incorporate — taste and adjust cautiously. If you prefer more heat, add 1 drop at a time, stir, and taste between additions.

Garnish
Garnish with a grapefruit wheel and optionally a lime wedge on the rim. Serve immediately.
