Offer valid daily from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Guests who order a housepour wine during this window are eligible to receive a second housepour of equal value free (1-for-1). Ensure the order is placed and served within the promotion timeframe.

Eligibility & timing

If bottle is unopened, open using a waiter’s corkscrew. Wipe the neck with a clean cloth. If wine is already open, check that it was stored properly (upright if opened recently, refrigerated if white/rosé). Smell briefly to confirm there is no obvious fault (acetone, wet cardboard).

Prepare the bottle

Using a clean wine glass, hold the glass by the stem. Pour a standard housepour portion (approximately 5 fl oz / 150 ml) into the first glass. Place the poured glass in front of the guest and confirm their satisfaction (red/white).

Pour first glass

Record the first pour in the POS under the housepour wine item and apply the 1-for-1 promotion so the second pour will be free. Verify the promotion applies only between 5–8 PM and to housepour wines only.

Register the promotion

When the guest requests the second pour (or immediately if requested), pour a second equal housepour (5 fl oz / 150 ml) into a clean wine glass from the same house bottle. Present the second glass and note that this second pour is covered by the promotion.

Serve second glass

Optionally place a small cup of still water and any requested snack plate (cheese, olives, bread) on the table. Refill water as needed.

Offer palate refreshers

When the guest is finished, finalize the check. The POS should show one charged housepour and one complimentary housepour (1-for-1). If any additional pours beyond the promotional pair are requested, charge subsequent pours normally.

Close out

Prepare a small snack plate with a few slices of bread, 1–2 cheeses and a small handful of olives. Serve alongside the wine if requested.
