Preparation
Cook the Filling
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, sauté until the onion is translucent.
Add the Beef
Add the ground beef to the skillet. Cook until browned, breaking it up with a spatula.
Mix in Feta
Once the filling mixture has cooled, fold in the crumbled feta cheese. Set aside.
Prepare Pastry
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Roll out your house pastry dough and cut into circles about 4 inches in diameter.
Assemble Sfeehas
Place a tablespoon of the filling in the center of each circle. Fold the dough over to create a half-moon shape and pinch the edges to seal.
Bake
Place the assembled sfeehas on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
Serve
Remove from oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy your Lebanese Sfeehas warm!
