Cooking Instructions
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
Prepare the Brussels Sprouts
Trim the ends of the Brussels sprouts and cut them in half. Place them in a large bowl.
Season and Toss
Add olive oil, salt, and black pepper to the Brussels sprouts. Toss well to coat.
Roast the Brussels Sprouts
Spread the Brussels sprouts on a baking sheet in a single layer. Roast in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes until they are golden brown and tender.
Add Bacon and Cheese
Once roasted, remove the Brussels sprouts from the oven and sprinkle the cooked bacon and Fontina cheese over them. Return to the oven for an additional 5 minutes, until the cheese is melted.
Serve with Tomato Sauce
Plate the roasted Brussels sprouts and drizzle with warm tomato sauce. Top with toasted hazelnuts before serving.
