1. Chill the can

Place the Narragansett tall boy in the refrigerator for at least 60 minutes before serving if it is not already well chilled. For quicker chilling, submerge the can in an ice-water bath for 10–15 minutes.

2. If you prefer to drink from a glass, chill the tall beer glass or pint glass in the refrigerator or freezer for 10–15 minutes before serving.

3. If using ice (optional): add up to 1 cup of ice to the chilled glass. Note that adding ice will water down the beer and change flavor — common for some warm-weather beer cocktails but not traditional for lager drinking.

4. Open the Narragansett tall boy. Hold the glass at a slight angle (about 45°) and pour the beer gently down the side to reduce excessive foam. Aim for a small 1/2- to 1-inch head.

5. If you prefer to drink directly from the can, simply crack it open and enjoy chilled. For a garnish, squeeze a lime wedge over the beer and drop it into the glass or can if desired.

6. Serve immediately. Drink responsibly.
