Ribs and Marinade
Method
Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Marinade
In a large bowl, combine grated ginger, soy sauce, sweet chili sauce, sesame oil, brown sugar, minced garlic, and black pepper. Mix well.
- 2
Marinate the Ribs
Place the St. Louis style ribs in a large resealable bag or shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the ribs, making sure they are well coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
- 3
Slow Cook the Ribs
Preheat your slow cooker. Remove the ribs from the marinade (reserve the marinade) and place them in the slow cooker. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or until the ribs are tender.
- 4
Grill the Ribs
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Remove the ribs from the slow cooker and place them on the grill. Brush with the reserved marinade. Grill for about 5-10 minutes on each side, until they have a nice char.
- 5
Serve
Remove the ribs from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes. Sprinkle with chopped Asian herbs and toasted sesame seeds before serving. Pair with your choice of two sides.
