Cocktail Base

Muddle & Garnish

Method

Muddle & Build

1

Prepare glass and muddle

Place 8 fresh mint leaves, 2 lime wedges, and 4 fresh raspberries into a sturdy mixing glass or the serving glass. Add 0.5 oz simple syrup and 0.5 oz fresh lime juice. Use a muddler to press and twist gently 8–10 times to release oils and juices without shredding the mint into tiny pieces.

2

Add spirits

Add 2 oz raspberry vodka to the muddled mixture and give it one brief stir to combine the flavors.

Assemble & Chill

3

Fill the serving glass (if not already using it) with about 1 cup crushed ice. Strain the muddled vodka mixture over the ice to remove large solids, leaving small fruit bits and mint as desired.

4

Top with 3 oz lime soda, then gently stir once or twice to mix without flattening the soda.

Finish & Serve

5

Carefully float 2 oz chilled champagne or sparkling wine on top by pouring slowly over the back of a spoon held just above the drink to create a bubbly layer.

6

Garnish with a sprig of mint and a lime wheel or wedge. Optionally thread an extra raspberry onto a cocktail pick and rest across the rim.

7

Serve immediately with a straw and enjoy. Recommended serving: 1 cocktail.
