Cocktail

1

Prepare glass (optional)

If you prefer a salted rim, pour the coarse salt onto a small plate. Rub the rim of a rocks or coupe glass with a lime wedge, then gently dip the rim into the salt to coat. Set the glass aside.

2

Combine ingredients

In a cocktail shaker, add the reposado tequila, fresh lime juice, agave syrup, and orange liqueur.

3

Add ice and shake

Add a generous handful of ice (about 1 cup cubed) to the shaker. Secure the lid and shake vigorously for 10–15 seconds, until the shaker is well chilled and slightly frosted.

4

Strain and serve

Fill the prepared glass with fresh ice if using a rocks glass (or leave empty for a coupe). Double-strain the cocktail into the glass using a fine mesh strainer or the shaker's built-in strainer to remove small ice chips and any pulp.

5

Garnish

Express the oils from the fresh orange twist over the drink by holding it skin-side down and giving it a firm twist, then drop the twist into the glass as a garnish.

6

Serve immediately. Sip and enjoy responsibly.
