Chill the glass
Chill a coupe or rocks glass by placing it in the freezer for 5 minutes or filling with ice and setting aside.
Prepare the shaker
Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with ice.
Add ingredients
Pour 60 ml gold rum, 30 ml pineapple juice, 22 ml fresh lime juice, 15 ml orange liqueur, and 15 ml simple syrup into the shaker.
Shake
Cap and shake vigorously for 10-15 seconds until well chilled.
Serve
Strain the mixture into the chilled glass and garnish with a pineapple wedge if desired. Serve immediately.
