Fried Butter Chicken Slider Ingredients
Method
Preparation Directions
Marinate the Chicken
In a large bowl, combine yogurt, garam masala, cumin, turmeric, salt, and black pepper. Add the chicken thighs to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or overnight for best flavor.
Prepare Breading Station
Set up a breading station with three shallow dishes: one with flour, one with a beaten egg, and one with panko breadcrumbs.
Bread the Chicken
Remove marinated chicken from the refrigerator. Dip each piece into the flour, shaking off the excess, then into the egg, and finally coat with panko breadcrumbs. Set aside on a plate.
Fry the Chicken
In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Once hot, add the breaded chicken pieces and fry until golden brown and cooked through, about 4-5 minutes per side. Remove and drain on paper towels.
Assemble Sliders
Cut slider buns in half and place a piece of fried chicken on the bottom half. Top with fresh cilantro leaves and squeeze lime juice over. Place the top bun on and repeat for remaining sliders.
Serve
Serve immediately with extra lime wedges on the side.
