Method
Cooking the Chicken
- 1
Prepare the Chicken
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat or prepare your frying pan over medium heat. Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels.
- 2
In a small bowl, mix together olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Brush this mixture over both sides of the chicken breasts.
- 3
For grilled chicken: Place the chicken breasts on the grill and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C). For crispy chicken: Heat a little oil in a frying pan and cook the chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side until golden and cooked through.
Assembling the Dish
- 4
Prepare the Toppings
While the chicken is cooking, prepare your toppings. Wash and chop the lettuce, slice the tomato, and get the cheddar cheese ready.
- 5
Once the chicken is cooked, let it rest for a few minutes before slicing it.
- 6
To assemble, place some lettuce on a plate, add the sliced chicken, top it with tomato slices, cheddar cheese, and a drizzle of mayonnaise and BBQ sauce. Add pickles on the side.
Serving
