Cook the Meat
In a large pot over medium heat, add the ground beef. Cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes, breaking it up with a spoon as it cooks.

Add Tomatoes and Sauce
Stir in the diced tomatoes and tomato sauce. Mix well to combine all ingredients.

Add Beans and Spices
Drain and rinse the kidney and black beans. Add them to the pot along with chili powder, cumin, oregano, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper. Stir thoroughly.

Simmer the Chili
Bring the chili to a boil, then reduce the heat to low. Cover and let it simmer for at least 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. The longer it simmers, the more the flavors will develop.
Serving

Garnish and Serve
Ladle the chili into bowls and garnish with chopped cilantro, a dollop of sour cream, and shredded cheese as desired.
