Method
Pasta Preparation
- 1
Cook the Fettuccine
In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the fettuccine pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Chicken Preparation
- 2
Grill the Chicken
While the pasta is cooking, heat olive oil in a grill pan over medium-high heat. Season the chicken breasts with garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Grill the chicken for 5-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked and the juices run clear. Remove from the heat and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.
Alfredo Sauce Preparation
- 3
Make the Alfredo Sauce
In a large saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and mix until smooth and creamy. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
- 4
Combine Pasta and Sauce
Add the cooked fettuccine to the Alfredo sauce, tossing well to coat the pasta evenly. If the sauce is too thick, add a little pasta water to reach the desired consistency.
Assembly and Serving
- 5
Serve the Dish
Plate the creamy Chicken Alfredo pasta and top with sliced grilled chicken. Garnish with chopped parsley for added freshness and flavor. Serve immediately.
