Method

Burger Patty Preparation

  1. 1

    Mix Ingredients

In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.

  2. 2

    Form Patties

Divide the mixture into two equal portions and form them into patties, making a slight indentation in the center of each patty to help them cook evenly.

  3. 3

    Cook Patties

Preheat a grill or frying pan over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach an internal temperature of 70°C (160°F). In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty to melt.

Burger Assembly

  1. 4

    Prepare Buns

Slice the burger buns in half and lightly toast them on the grill or in a toaster until golden brown.

  2. 5

    Assemble Burger

On the bottom half of each bun, place a lettuce leaf, followed by the cooked patty with melted cheese. Top with slices of tomato, onion, pickles, ketchup, and mustard. Finish with the top half of the bun.

Fries Preparation

  1. 6

    Cut Potatoes

Wash and peel the potatoes. Cut them into thin strips to form fries.

  2. 7

    Heat Oil

In a deep frying pan or pot, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches about 175°C (350°F).

  3. 8

    Fry Potatoes

Carefully add the cut potatoes to the hot oil in batches, frying until golden brown and crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.

  4. 9

    Season Fries

While the fries are still hot, sprinkle with salt to taste.
