Method

Prepare toppings
Measure out each topping you plan to offer or add. For fresh fruit (strawberries, banana, blueberries), wash, hull and thinly slice strawberries, peel and thinly slice banana, and rinse blueberries. Place each topping in its own small bowl or ramekin for easy access.
Warm sticky toppings
If using peanut butter, caramel sauce, or honey and you want a pourable consistency, warm gently: place the amount needed in a microwave-safe bowl and heat in 5–10 second bursts, stirring between, until loosened (about 10–20 seconds). Do not overheat.
Assemble on base
Start with the base item (ice cream, yogurt, pancakes, waffles, smoothie bowl, etc.). Spoon or arrange chosen toppings evenly over the surface. For fruit, distribute so every serving gets a mix; for crunchy toppings (granola, nuts, pretzels) sprinkle evenly. Drizzle sauces (honey, maple, caramel, warmed peanut butter) sparingly to avoid sogginess—about 1 tablespoon per serving.
Finish and serve
Add delicate finishes last: whipped cream, sprinkles, shredded coconut, chopped mint, a small pinch of flaky sea salt or a light dusting of chili flakes for contrast. Serve immediately to preserve texture, and note that each topping is priced at $1 each.
