Meatballs
Method
Preparation and Cooking
Make the Meatballs
In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, chopped parsley, minced garlic, egg, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly combined.
Form the Meatballs
Using your hands, form the mixture into small meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Cook the Meatballs
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Bake the meatballs in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes or until they are cooked through and browned.
Prepare the Marinara Sauce
While the meatballs are baking, heat marinara sauce in a saucepan over medium heat until warmed through.
Serve
Once the meatballs are cooked, serve them hot, drizzled with marinara sauce and topped with extra Parmesan cheese if desired. Pair with creamy polenta.
