Strawberry Shake

Enjoy a creamy and refreshing regular-sized strawberry shake made with ripe strawberries and smooth vanilla ice cream.

Strawberry Shake, regular size

100% Cabernet Sauvignon from the premier American Viticultural Area of Rutherford in Napa Valley.

Start by washing the Cabernet Sauvignon grapes thoroughly. Remove any stems and leaves, then crush the grapes in a clean container to release their juice.

Prepare the Grapes

Pour 1 cup of clean water over the crushed grapes in the container. This helps in extracting flavors and sugars from the grapes.

Add Water

Sprinkle 1 tsp of wine yeast over the grape mixture. Stir gently to incorporate the yeast into the must (the mixture of crushed grapes and water).

Inoculate with Yeast

Check the sweetness of the mixture. If it's not sweet enough, add 1 cup of sugar and stir until completely dissolved. This will help in the fermentation process.

Add Sugar (if needed)

Cover the container with a clean cloth and let it sit in a warm, dark place for about 7 to 10 days. Stir the mixture daily to help aerate and promote fermentation.

Fermentation

If you prefer a more oaky flavor, add 1 cup of oak chips during the fermentation process. This will impart additional flavors to your wine.

Add Oak Chips (optional)

After fermentation, strain the liquid through a fine mesh cloth into a clean container to separate the wine from the solids. Transfer the strained wine into bottles, leaving some space at the top.

Straining and Bottling

Seal the bottles and store them in a cool, dark place for at least 6 months to allow the flavors to develop. The longer you age the wine, the more complex the flavors will become.
