Wash the red grapes thoroughly and remove any stems. Crush the grapes in a large fermentation vessel to release the juice.

Step 1: Prepare the Grapes

Add 1 liter of water and 200 grams of sugar to the crushed grapes. Stir well to dissolve the sugar.

Step 2: Add Water and Sugar

Crush the Campden tablet and add it to the mixture. This will help to kill any wild yeast and bacteria. Allow the mixture to sit for 24 hours.

Step 3: Add Additives

After 24 hours, sprinkle the wine yeast and acid blend over the mixture. Stir gently to combine.

Step 4: Add Yeast

Cover the fermentation vessel with a clean cloth and let it ferment for about 5 to 7 days, stirring daily, until fermentation slows down.

Step 5: Fermentation

Once fermentation has slowed, siphon the wine into a clean carboy, leaving sediment behind. Allow it to clarify for 4 to 6 weeks.

Step 6: Transfer and Clarify

When the wine is clear, siphon it into bottles, leaving some space at the top. Seal the bottles with corks.

Step 7: Bottling

Store the bottles in a cool, dark place for at least 3 months to allow the flavors to develop.
