Method
Prepare the Brownies
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.
Melt Butter and Mix Sugars
In a saucepan over low heat, melt the butter. Remove from heat and stir in the granulated sugar and brown sugar until well combined.
Add Eggs and Vanilla
Allow the mixture to cool slightly, then add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
Add Chocolate Chips
Fold in the dark chocolate chips.
Bake
Spread the batter into the prepared baking pan and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
Cool
Allow brownies to cool in the pan before cutting into squares.
Serve
Assemble the Dessert
Place brownie squares on plates and top each with a scoop of dulce de leche ice cream. Drizzle with dark rum and chocolate sauce.
Garnish
Sprinkle with sliced almonds and cocoa nibs for added texture and flavor.
