Place the bottle of Touraine Brut Rosé in an ice bucket filled with ice and cold water for 20–30 minutes, or refrigerate upright for at least 2–3 hours prior to serving. The ideal serving temperature for a Brut rosé is 6–8°C (43–46°F).

Chill the bottle

Rinse six champagne flutes with cold water and place them in the refrigerator or freezer for 10–15 minutes to get them nicely chilled. Meanwhile, hull the fresh strawberries and slice each into vertical halves or thin fan slices for garnish. If using lemon peel, cut a thin strip about 1/2 inch wide and 2–3 inches long and twist to release oils.

Prepare glassware and garnishes

With the bottle well chilled, remove the foil and loosen the wire cage while keeping your thumb over the cork. Hold the bottle at a 45° angle away from people and furniture. While holding the cork, twist the base of the bottle slowly to gently ease the cork out with a soft 'pop'—you want to preserve bubbles.

Open the bottle

Tilt each chilled flute at about 45° and pour the Touraine Brut Rosé slowly down the side to preserve effervescence, filling each glass about two-thirds (roughly 100–120 ml per flute). Drop a strawberry half into each glass for a fresh strawberry accent, or rest a fan slice on the rim. Optionally, rub the lemon peel around the glass rim and drop it in for a citrus aromatic lift.

Pour and present

Serve immediately while the wine is lively and chilled. Encourage guests to sip and appreciate the dry, light, creamy texture and fresh strawberry flavors. Keep the remaining bottle chilled in the ice bucket; re-cork or use a sparkling wine stopper to maintain bubbles if not finished.

Serve

If you have leftovers, reseal with a sparkling wine stopper and refrigerate upright. Consume within 1–2 days for best effervescence and flavor.
