Place the bottle of Prosecco in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours before serving. If you need it faster, submerge the bottle in an ice-and-water bath for 20–30 minutes until it reaches 6–8°C (43–46°F).

Chill the bottle

Remove the foil and loosen the wire cage while keeping your thumb over the cork. With the bottle at a 45° angle, hold the cork and slowly twist the bottle (not the cork) to gently ease the cork out with a soft pop to preserve bubbles.

Open the bottle

Hold a chilled flute or white wine glass by the stem. Tilt the glass at about 45° and pour gently down the side to preserve effervescence, filling to roughly two-thirds full (about 4–5 oz / 120–150 ml).

Pour

Prosecco Extra Dry is slightly sweeter than 'Brut' but still dry, with light, delicate fruitiness (pear, green apple, white peach) and a creamy mouthfeel. Serve immediately to enjoy fresh bubbles and the wine's juicy character.

Taste profile notes

Lemon twist: Express oils over the glass by holding the twist skin-side down above the glass and giving it a quick squeeze, then drop it into the flute for a bright citrus aroma.

Strawberry: For a fruity accent, add one thin slice of hulled strawberry into the glass or float a half-slice on top. This adds a subtle berry note and looks decorative.

Ice (optional for spritz-style service): If serving a chilled Prosecco spritz in a stemmed wine glass, add 2–4 ice cubes to the glass, pour 1–2 oz (30–60 ml) of spirit or liqueur if desired (not included in ingredients), then top with Prosecco and garnish.

Storage of opened bottle: Recork with a sparkling wine stopper and keep refrigerated; consume within 1–3 days for best effervescence and flavor.
