Place the Picpoul de Pinet bottle in a refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving or chill in an ice bucket for 20–30 minutes. Target serving temperature is about 8°C (46°F) to highlight the wine’s bright citrus and floral notes.

Chilling the bottle

About 2–3 minutes before serving, remove the bottle from the fridge or ice bucket. Use a waiter’s corkscrew to remove the cork cleanly. Inspect the wine briefly to ensure clarity and no off-odors.

Open the bottle

Pour into chilled white wine glasses, filling to about one-third full (120–150 ml per glass) to allow aroma development. Hold the glass by the stem to avoid warming the wine with your hand.
