Green Detox Juice (1 serving)
Carrot-Orange Immunity Juice (1 serving)
Beet-Apple Energizer (1 serving)
Method
Green Detox Juice (1 serving)
Strain and finish
Place a fine-mesh sieve or nut milk bag over a large bowl or jug. Pour the blended mixture through to extract the juice, pressing or squeezing to get as much liquid as possible. Discard or save the pulp for baking or compost. Pour the juice into a glass over ice cubes, taste and adjust with additional lemon or a tiny pinch of salt if needed. Serve immediately.
Carrot-Orange Immunity Juice (1 serving)
Prepare produce
Wash and scrub the carrots. Peel the orange and separate into segments. Peel and grate the ginger if using fresh. Measure the lemon juice, turmeric, and optional sweetener.
Juicing (juicer or blender)
If using a juicer: feed the carrots and orange segments through the juicer, then add a small knob of ginger. If using a blender: add chopped carrots, orange segments, ginger, lemon juice, turmeric, optional honey/maple, and cold water. Blend until smooth (about 45-60 seconds).
Strain and serve
If blended, strain through a fine mesh sieve or nut milk bag, pressing to extract juice. Pour into a glass over ice, stir, taste and adjust sweetness with a little more honey/maple if desired. Serve immediately.
Beet-Apple Energizer (1 serving)
Prepare produce
Wash and peel the beet. Core the apple and chop the carrot. Peel and grate a small amount of ginger. Measure lemon juice.
Strain and serve
Strain blended mixture through a fine mesh sieve or nut milk bag, pressing to extract juice. Pour over ice, stir, taste and adjust acidity with extra lemon if desired. Serve immediately. Note: beet juice can stain — wipe spills promptly.
