Chill the Glass

Begin by chilling your martini glass. You can do this by placing it in the freezer or filling it with ice water for a few minutes.

Mix the Ingredients

In a cocktail shaker, add 2 oz of vanilla vodka and 1 oz of pineapple juice. Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds.

Layer the Grenadine

Strain the mixture into the chilled martini glass. Slowly pour 0.5 oz of grenadine into the glass. It will settle at the bottom, creating a layered effect.

Garnish the Drink

Top the drink with a maraschino cherry and a wedge of pineapple for decoration.
