American Wagyu Slaw Be Jo®
American Wagyu Roast Beef
Method
American Wagyu Slaw Be Jo®
- 1
Prepare the Slaw
In a large bowl, combine the coleslaw mix, mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly coated.
- 2
Cook the Wagyu Beef
In a skillet over medium-high heat, cook the American Wagyu beef until fully cooked through, about 4-5 minutes per side. Remove from heat and let rest for a few minutes before slicing.
- 3
Assemble the Slaw Be Jo®
Slice the hoagie rolls lengthwise. Place a portion of the cooked Wagyu beef onto the bottom half of each roll, then top with the slaw mixture. Close the rolls and set aside.
American Wagyu Roast Beef
- 4
Prepare the Roast Beef
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Rub the American Wagyu beef with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Place on a roasting pan.
- 5
Roast the Beef
Roast the beef in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until it reaches your desired level of doneness. Use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature (130°F for medium-rare).
- 6
Add Cheese and Peppers
Five minutes before the beef is done, top with provolone cheese and roasted red peppers. Return to the oven until the cheese is melted.
- 7
Assemble the Roast Beef Sandwiches
Remove the roast from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes. Slice the hoagie rolls and place slices of the roast beef inside, ensuring to include cheese and peppers.
